Terms and Conditions for Mixing Engineer Services

  • Introduction These terms and conditions govern the use of the mixing engineering services provided by Sonic Wiz Ent., LLC (“Service Provider”). By using the services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the services.

  • Services The Service Provider offers professional mixing engineering services to clients for their audio recordings. The scope of services will be agreed upon between the Service Provider and the client before the start of the project.

    Payment

  • A deposit payment of 50% of the total cost of the service is due before the start of the project. The remaining balance will be paid no later than the completion of the project in order to receive the downloadable files. The Service Provider accepts payments through Square, which accepts major credit & debit cards and mobile wallet payments . Any additional expenses incurred during the project, such as recording studio rental or purchasing of additional plugins, will be agreed upon between the Service Provider and the client before being incurred.

    Deadlines

  • The deadline for completion of the project will be agreed upon between the Service Provider and the client before the start of the project. The Service Provider will make every effort to meet the agreed-upon deadline but will not be held responsible for any delay caused by the client or by any factors beyond the Service Provider’s control.

    Revisions

  • The Service Provider will provide a specified number of revisions as part of the services agreed upon between the Service Provider and the client. Any additional revisions requested by the client will be subject to additional fees.

    Confidentiality

  • The Service Provider agrees to keep all information and material provided by the client confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the client’s prior written consent.

    Termination

  • Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice to the other party. Upon termination, the Service Provider will cease all work on the project and return all original materials to the client.

    Intellectual Property

  • The client retains all intellectual property rights in the original recordings and materials provided to the Service Provider. The Service Provider will have the right to use the completed work for promotional purposes only.

    Warranty

  • The Service Provider warrants that the services will be performed in a professional and competent manner. The Service Provider will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the services provided.

    Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement, the parties agree to first try to resolve the dispute through negotiation. If negotiation is unsuccessful, the parties agree to submit the dispute to binding arbitration.

    Governing Law

  • This agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Maryland.

    Entire Agreement

  • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Service Provider and the client and supersede all prior understandings and agreements, whether written or verbal. Any changes to these terms and conditions must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
