THE APPROACH
A better way to
finish your record.
Every record deserves individual attention. My approach focuses on clarity, balance, depth and musicality while staying true to the artist's original vision.
THOUGHTFUL EQ & DYNAMICS
Decisions built around what the song actually needs.
BALANCED LOW END
Kick and bass working together with weight, definition and translation.
VOCAL CLARITY
MUSICAL AUTOMATION & DEPTH
Movement, space and dynamics that help the record feel alive.
NO TEMPLATE MIXES
Every record gets individual attention instead of a one-size-fits-all chain.
Vocals that stay present and emotional without becoming harsh.
EDITING & TUNING
Cleanup, timing and vocal tuning when the record needs it.

"Sam was a pleasure to work with! Delivered me high quality mixes for a great price! Highly recommend."
Hunter H.
"Very few music engineers/producers with Wiz's talent, experience, and overall quality and attention to detail. Your sound is an investment that you should only want handled by the best.. and Sam is one of the best at what he does.. PERIOD."

ABOUT
Experience behind
every decision.
I'm Sam "Wiz" Cook, a mixing engineer, producer and musician with 20+ years of experience working with artists and records.
My approach combines the technical side of mixing with the perspective of a musician and producer. I'm not just listening for what's technically correct. I'm listening for what makes the song connect.
Whether I'm shaping a vocal, building depth around an arrangement or getting the low end to sit right, every decision serves the record and the artist's vision.
